R-ONE Technology
Why choose our services
R-One FEATURES
mixed plastic waste capable

No Sorting Required

R-ONE can treat mixed and pigmented plastic waste without the need for sorting, which would be a costly expense. This flexibility allows us to process plastic waste from nearly all sources.

higher combustion efficiency

Higher Combustion Efficiency

The R-ONE diesel produced is SGS-tested to have a Cetane Number of 60, which is  25% higher than standard diesel fuels.

low pressure

Clean, Safe Process

The entire R-ONE process occurs at low pressures and relatively low temperatures in an oxygen-free environment, minimizing risk to workers.

no cleaning required

No Cleaning Required

Unwashed plastic materials can be processed, reducing water use and water pollution.

low sulfur content

Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel

R-ONE diesel contains less than 10 ppm of Sulfur.Reduce acid rain.

emission less

Low Emissions

Unlike traditional waste to energy operations, R-ONE is a clean process that produces almost no harmful emissions. Emissions from the facility have been tested by the SGS to be between 20X to 30X lower than emission standards.

continuous production

Continuous Production

The R-ONE process is designed for continuous production. Reaction residues are removed without needing to cool down the reactor, allowing for non-stop and energy-efficient operation.

.

heat value

15% Higher Heat Value

With a heat value of 11,100 Kcal/kg, R-ONE diesel has higher energy content than standard diesel fuels.

Taiwan.

South and North

In 2017, EVP will begin construction of full-scale R-ONE production lines in northern Taiwan and southern Taiwan and begin commercial operations treating industrial plastic waste. EVP also began planning and cooperation with Taiwan’s outlying islands for small-scale experimental programs to deal with marine plastic waste. EVP plans to combine public interest NGOs with marine waste recycling programs to deal with the growing problem of marine plastic garbage.

China

Guangzhou, Sichuan

Due to the drastically increasing and harmful effects of smog and pollution on the environment and public health, the Chinese government has recently begun to make environmental protection a priority. Because the country currently doesn’t have a mature recycling and waste management infrastructure in place, all wastes are either incinerated (which produces haze) or put in a landfill. It is also for this reason that when the Chinese government learned of EVP R-ONE is green energy technology and environmental protection benefits, they requested to implement EVP R-ONE technology in Sichuan Province as a trial with goals to gradually expand the operation to different regions.

Honduras

Tegucigaipa

EVP R-ONE Group is currently in talks with various Honduran government ministries and groups with the goal of constructing and managing an R-ONE facility in Honduras in order to help treat the country is plastic waste. The R-ONE facility will be able to divert a portion of waste away from landfills and dumping grounds in Honduras while generating clean energy and fuel. EVP is goal is to help Honduras preserve its beautiful environment while demonstrating that businesses can thrive while being environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible. Both the Honduran government and EVP are very excited to cooperate on this project.

Do you have any questions?
ALL THE NECESSARY INFORMATION

Does the R-ONE process require any pre-sorting of the plastic feedstock?

R-ONE is innovative technology allows unsorted and unwashed plastic wastes to be directly processed, avoiding the high costs of sorting and washing plastic waste that the plastic recycling industry faces. However, plastic feedstock should be crushed or otherwise broken apart into small pieces to speed up the R-ONE process.

What types of plastic materials can R-ONE process?

R-ONE can utilize all common plastics such as #1 PET (Plastic bottles), #2 HDPE (Milk bottles), #3 PVC (cable insulation), #4 LDPE (plastic bags), #5 PP (beverage cups), #6 PS(Styrofoam), and #7 PS (Nylon).

Other uncommon or unclassified plastic materials can be tested by our professional technicians to determine whether they are suitable for R-ONE processing.

Is there any secondary pollution caused during the R-ONE process?

The R-ONE process only produces oil, water, carbon black, syngas and small amounts of carbon dioxide. The R-ONE process meets the SGS environmental standards as well as Taiwan is air pollution standards for factory operations.

For the same amount of plastic waste, the R-ONE process produces 100x less carbon dioxide than incineration. The syngas produced by R-ONE is returned to the system where it is used as fuel for the process while water is recycled and reused. Using R-ONE technology, sustainability and green production can be achieved.

How much plastic can R-ONE process in a day?

A single production line consisting 10 modules process about 20 to 25 tons of plastic waste in a day. Every R-ONE facility is capacity can be scaled according to client needs. EVP is constantly innovating the R-ONE process and developing new, sophisticated technologies that will increase the efficiency and capacity of the R-ONE process.

Is the production process in compliance with national standards?

R-ONE meets SGS testing standards and complies with Taiwan is air pollution standards for factory operations. The R-ONE process is oxygen-free and low pressure, minimizing safety risks as well as the generation of toxic gases. R-ONE facilities utilize real-time computer monitoring to ensure safe operations.

Where is EVP based in?

EVP is head office is in Taipei, Taiwan while our research and development teams are located around the world (Taiwan, mainland China, the United States). EVP’s demonstration and testing R-ONE facility is located just outside of Hsinchu, Taiwan.

Does EVP sell or license its R-ONE technology?

EVP does not only sell or license R-ONE technology, but rather hopes to cooperate with local government agencies, environmental companies and NGO groups to solve the increasingly serious plastic waste issue.
